Vinny Testaverde played quarterback at Miami (1982–86). He won the 1986 Heisman Trophy, the 1986 Davey O’Brien Award, the 1986 Maxwell Award and the 1986 Walter Camp Award. He was a consensus All‑American in 1986. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took Testaverde first overall in the 1987 NFL Draft. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2013.
